The Committee on International Education (CIE) advises the Senate, the Chancellor, and the Dean/Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education on matters related to international education on the UCSC campus, including the allocation of resources for international education, the recruitment of international students, and the status and welfare of international students at UCSC. CIE also reviews proposals for UCSC faculty-led summer abroad programs. CIE meets as needed.
