Proposed Change to Santa Cruz Bylaw 13.11

To the Academic Senate, Santa Cruz Division:

Explanation

The workload of this committee has increased radically during 2001-02 and promises to be heavy for at least another year. COC proposes to increase the size of CAFA by as many as two members. Those two additional members will be nominated by COC in those years deemed particularly heavy in workload, determined by consultation between the Chair of CAFA and COC.

Current Proposed

13.11.1 There are seven Santa Cruz Division members and no more than three student representatives. The Committee on Committees nominates a member to serve on the Board of Admissions and Relations with Schools.

13.11.1 There are no fewer than seven and no more than nine Santa Cruz Division members and no more than three student representatives. The Committee on Committees nominates a member to serve on the Board of Admissions and Relations with Schools.
